Particle is currently investigating reports of IFTTT integration failures. We will provide updates in this thread as the investigation proceeds.
Our Engineering team has made progress identifying the issue.
Thanks @marekparticle please let us know what progress is made resolving this.
Our Engineering team has identified a potential solution and will be testing its efficacy today.
Hi @marekparticle , could you please provide an update on this issue? My team relies on the IFTTT integration for important internal monitoring tools and we are blind right now to errors/alerts coming from our deployed products.
Any initial results of testing the fix, and especially an expected timeframe to resolution (even ballpark) on this would be extremely helpful for us, since its now been ~10 days since our last IFTTT message came through successfully and we may need to evaluate other options if this doesn’t seem like it can be addressed quickly. Thanks
@cstites - we are planning to release this potential solution within the next 24 hours. It may take an additional 1-3 days for the solution to propagate across all Particle devices.
A workaround is identified here: Ifttt apps not working with particle 9-8-2021 - #10 by nrobinson2000.
Poorrrr!!!! Particle sometimes I’m glad that I’m here just for fun and hobby 10 days for folks with customers....
That can kill entire business
Perhaps some work around, which works for me really pretty stable for months is MQTT
Hope Particle will prioritize this issue and all affected customers can back to game
The solution has been released, and we expect impacted IFTTT integrations to resume as the release propagates over the next 3 days. We are keeping an eye on the rollout and will post an update shortly.
My integrations appear to be working again!
Thanks for keeping us in the loop @marekparticle
The solution appears to be working very well. If you wish to expedite the process, you can hard reset a given device (removing power altogether and waiting a few seconds) in order to force it to accept the propagation faster. It’s our expectation that the remaining devices will migrate automatically over the next 24-48 hours.
