Ifttt reporting a problem with the Particle API

The IFTTT applets I’ve had running for a year suddenly stopped working a few days ago. If I check the activity log there are a lot of messages about applets failing, with the note " The Particle service or its API may be temporarily down".

Anything going on with Particle, or has IFTTT just let me down again?

I had the past few days synonymous times: have the applet recreated and deleted the defective.
I had previously turned to the ifttt service, as I had seen the event within the particle console logs.
