I have set up a new Proton (Sparkfun Proton RedBoard). It's my second Proton.
I used the iPhone App for the Setup. Then the message appeared "This Particle device has been setup before, do you want to override ownership to ...?". I said yes. The rest of the process went smooth (Configure Wi-Fi credentials check, Connect to Wi-Fi network check, Wait for device cloud connection check, Check for internet connectivity check) but it failed by "verify device ownership".
If I try the same and answer the first ownership message with "no" everything goes smoothly.
I also tried it via the Particle CLI. Here is also fails:
Obtaining device information...
Setting up device id ...
Requesting public key from the device...
Setting the magical cloud claim code...
Telling the Photon to apply your Wi-Fi configuration...
The Photon will now attempt to connect to your Wi-Fi network...
and it stops at "! It doesn't look like your Photon has made it to the cloud yet." (I have waited several minutes.
I have tried stuff I found on forums, such as "particle update", I generated new keys etc. Unfortunately, nothing seems to work.
Any ideas? I stuck.
