[SOLVED] Impossible to connect

Hi,

My Spark Core isn’t working, i spent two days trying to add the device on my account.

Here is where i am now : i flashed it, install C3000 and make the particle setup wifi on my terminal. I’m connected to the network (cyan light) but the device isn’t recognize by my account. I don’t know how to find my Device ID to add it manually.

Could someone help me please ?

Ok did you install particle-cli or have a serial terminal software?

Yep, i’ve already complete the step with the “particle setup wifi” on my terminal. My Spark is cyan and connected to Wi-Fi but not with my account.

particle setup wifi will only send wifi credentials to your core. You need to claim a new core and tag it under your account.

  • Press the MODE button until the core blinks blue
  • type particle identify to get the device id
  • reset the Core and wait for it to be breathing cyan
  • type particle device add DEVICE_ID_YOU_GOT

Thanks a lot, now i have this issue (i bought the spark to someone else) :

Failed to claim device, server said { ok: false,
errors: [ ‘That belongs to someone else. To request a transfer add ?request_transfer=true to the URL.’ ] }

On which url should i put ?request_transfer=true ?
