Purchasing 1000 pcs of P1 in China

Hello,

We are preparing a 1000 pcs manufacturing run and found someone supplying the P1 in China.

Does anyone know if that would be genuine P1 modules or if there would be anything wrong with them?

If you purchase the USI WM-N-BM-14 (P1) from anyone other than Particle or Particle authorized distributors, it will not connect to the Particle cloud.

Thus both USI WM-N-BM-14 purchased from USI or its distributors, or a clone device, would not be able to connect. The Device ID is masked into the device at the factory, and only known device IDs can connect to the Particle cloud.
