I have a new Argon out of the box. I plugged it into my computer and performed ‘particle update’ in CLI.
When completed the Argon went right into SOS of 10 blinks. WTF?!
Isn’t that supposed to be the safe way to update your device?
If I manually update the OS, Bootloader and SoftDevice then try to give it credentials through the Particle app, the app wants me to upgrade the firmware. What firmware is it looking for?
What version CLI are you using?
I updated my CLI twice, yet it still was operating at 1.44. After I updated CLI, the update worked. But the app still wants me to update the device OS when I pair with it. Here is what particle inspect gives me:
