I use the iOS app to set up my Photons. Can anyone tell me how to add my Photon to a new wifi network without loosing the name.
All I seem to be able to do is go through add a Photon and this auto generates a completely new name.

Sorry I should explain reconfiguring in the old app pulls in the current name when adding a core to a new wifi.

Hmm… good question. Currently, I see no way to do that from within the app. What did seem to work was just closing the app when it asked for a new name. Seeing as the Photon connects to the cloud after entering the credentials, changing the name is probably a simple API request. Closing the app ensures that that request isn’t sent, which leaves you with the original name.
This is however a feature that I can see being useful when added. A simple “skip this step” should suffice I’d think(?)
