I have an associate in the field who is trying to use an Android phone to join a Photon to a WiFi network. Does it work the same as the iOS app?
It’s a little different. Android Apps are allowed to change the WiFi network, so instead of opening the WiFi settings, it will search and connect to automatically.
@justinmy, thanks for the response. I was trying to help the individual by phone and he’s a bit of a novice. I was running blind without any Android Particle experience and assumed it operated the same. I ended up going to the site and got him online in a few minutes with my iPhone. We’ll have to spend a bit of time together with his Android phone to see how it works. Again, thanks for the feedback!
