No light in LED at all - dead Photon?

Hi,

I just bought a few Photons and most of them work as expected. One of them however does not seem to live. When powering it up the status LED does not turn on at all. The CLI can’t find it, neither through USB or Wi-Fi. It does not show up on my Wi-Fi-list on the phone either.

The only sign of life is the blue LED at D7 which lights up…

Any help appreciated.

Have you tried DFU mode/Safe Mode?

I can’t seem to enter any modes. No response from the LED makes it difficult to figure out what is happening.

@mathers, it sounds like that Photon has no bootloader or firmware on it. You may want to log a ticket with Particle support.
