Hello wonderful Particle community,

Hook is a Particle-powered smart home product. It makes inexpensive remote controlled outlets and bulb sockets smart - to enable Home Automation on a Budget. Technically, it is a RF-to-WiFi hub with patent-pending remote cloning technology.

We got Funded on Kickstarter in May and are well on track to deliver by Dec.

We just opened beta testing to our Kickstarter backers, and now want to extend the invite to Particle community (after all this is where Hook was born).

Sweet! What do I do?

Step 1. Make your own Hook. Here’s the instructable. You don’t need many parts. Its super simple.

Step 2. Apply for Hook Beta Testing. We will provide the firmware binary (for you to flash over DFU) and access to the web app.

Step 3. We give support and you provide feedback through our community forum

Everyone wins! You get a free Hook+ (even affordable home automation). We get to give back to the community and get invaluable feedback.
