Downloading app from iTunes

For some reason I cannot get the app to download completely on my iPod. Running v6.1.5.
Its acts like its going to download the pauses before complete and just does not finish.
Any one else experience this?

Hmm, I think the app needs iOS 7?

Yep that’s correct, the app is iOS 7 only.

Maybe you can use the TI WiFi SmartConfig app, that still works on iOS 5.

Totally! Just make sure to claim your core using the serial / build site in that case http://docs.spark.io/#/connect/claiming-your-core

Also you’ll need to use the AES key sparkdevices2013

I am unable to claim my core because I do not know how to get it. I don't have iOS 7.
The coolTerm method seems to do nothing for me. The TI method seems to do nothing either. I have a mac book and the spark. Why is this so complicated. Seems it would be nice if there was the core name in the box on delivery.

Ok so I have my core i believe. Its the really long number? When I try to claim my core its not claiming. I don’t know what to do. Please help.
