Cores won't maintain WiFi connection. Photons are fine

Hi,

I have a portable WiFi hotspot that I am trying to connect Cores to. The Photons I have connect fine. The Cores will connect if I set the network through CLI (they connect when they auto reset at the end of the process). But when unplugged and plugged back in they often won’t reconnect, ever. They will blink green continuously (sometimes they display other sequences). If I use CLI to reset the WiFi they are fine again.

Photons on the same WiFi are fine.
These are very old Cores.
Any ideas?

Can you try to do particle flash --usb cc3000 followed by particle flash --usb tinker in DFU mode using the CLI?
