Xenon & Argon random triplet cyan burst

Hey all,

I’ve been running a couple xenons and an argon on a single network for quite some time. I recently notice random cyan blinking from any of these units and I believe it’s a burst of 3 blinks, very fast. It could potentially be 4 but pretty sure it’s 3 blinks. I’ve power cycled them, I’ve re-flashed them and after awhile, it always seems to come back.

Any ideas what it could be?

That could be a temporary loss of connectivity causing a re-handshake with the cloud.
How often/frequently do these occure?

At this point, the argon is more consistent with it flashing about every minute or two. The xenons are more random but can sometimes be consistent.

I’ll take a video and try to post it later.

I had the same trouble (every minute fast blink cyan triplets within normal breathing cyan pattern) with an Argon running the 0.90 firmware. I am now running 1.2.0-beta.1 and I have not seen the problem re-occur.

It seemed that during the triplet blink error the device had partial cloud communications. I found that the console could not access the argon (ping or view events). However a webhook initiated by an argon event did continue to fire successfully.

Hi @jens0771 ,

Could you confirm the device OS version you are on? If it is not on the latest device OS version, I recommend upgrading to the latest beta release and letting us know if the problem persists.

I was on 0.9 and I just upgraded all my mesh devices to the 1.2.0-beta 1 tonight. I’ll keep an eye on them over the next few days and if I see the cyan burst, I’ll report back.
