Which IR Emitter component to use with Photon?

I’m trying to build an IFTTT to IR module to control my entertainment system using Amazon Echo/Alexa.

I’m trying to figure out which IR component I need to use to control a bunch of devices (projector, amplifier, Apple TV and HDMI switch).

Can I get any off the shelf components? Can I just repurpuse something like this Logitech IR Mini Blaster?

If not what do I need to assemble on the Photon in order to transmit IR codes for these devices?
