I have developed a solution on behalf of someone else but I am unable to support them gong forwards and both parties would like that the devices and code are handed over.
I have a particle account under which I have a coupe of electron devices that I have used for dev purposes, they’re under a product that the owner can access.
I would like to transfer these devices and the product to the account owned by the organisation that I have developed this for.
Ideally the web integrations, which are vital to the running of the solution, can be moved too.
At this time, we don’t have an exposed user interface for transferring ownership of Products. In order to transfer a Product, you would need to contact support for this.
As an alternative measure, if you are only using your Particle account for this customer and product, you could consider transferring ownership of the account to the customer by changing the email address in the account info tab and having them update the credit card info on the billing page.
This might not help you this time, but for future reference:
If you’re writing something you’ll be handing off to someone else, create a separate Particle account. If you’re using Google Mail, the + syntax is handy: myname+mycustomer@gmail.com. When you’re ready to hand off to your customer, you can transfer that whole account to them by changing the email address on the account.
Note that accounts can’t be merged, so make sure they don’t create a Particle account on the email you’re transferring to.
