So I gave my Electron to the base for this big system we’re making. But for some reason, even though I have uncliamed it and then claimed it in their setup the billing didn’t move to them and has been stopped from cell comms.
Any help?
The billing and claiming of devices is intentionally separate. For example, in a company each developer could claim their own Electron but the SIMs would be controlled by a person in purchasing or who has a corporate credit card.
In any case, all you need to do is go to https://console.particle.io and go into the Billing page, select the SIM, then select Release Ownership. Then, the new owner would go to https://setup.particle.io, select the option on the right (SIM only) and enter the login and billing information for the new account and you should be set.
