Sorry if this has been asked but could not find it anywhere. On the SoM Eval Board there are two unpopulated area for SMA connectors. If I wish to use those and soldered them on the board, am I good to go at that point? Or will they need to connect back to the u.fl connectors on the module?

They’re only the mechanical fastening for a SMA jack to be soldered to the board so there’s a solid mount for a SMA antenna. The intention is that you’d get a SMA jack with a U.FL pigtail to connect to the Tracker SoM module antenna connectors that you want to extend.
@rickkas7 Thanks that is exactly what I needed to confirm. Looking at the block diagram it almost looks like they connect back to the SoM. Thanks for confirming that.
