Particle Photon 3.3v current supply limits

Hi, numerous sources mention that the Photon’s 3.3v pin can supply 100mA but the Photon’s datasheet says it’s got a 600mA Richtek converter and doesn’t specify a maximum current supply from the 3.3v pin.

Can I safely draw more than 100mA from the 3.3v pin, especially when the Photon’s radio is turned off?

@megabyte, I would count on max 150ma from the 3.3v pin.

Thanks @peekay123 , is that with the Photon’s radio on or off?

Also, is the 150mA limit because the Photon can draw up to 450mA or because the onboard DC-DC converter is designed for < 600mA?
