Power Photon with 3.3v?

Can anyone comment on whether it’s possible to power the Photon with 3.3v instead of the stated 3.6-6v range? If so what pin would be used?

I’ve designed a board that has 12v and 3.3v already and I am really trying to avoid adding support for 5v.

You can wire up your 3.3V supply directly to the 3V3 pin on the Photon.
