On setup particle photon asks for password?

From App

  • Particle asks for password when trying to connect to it via phone via particle app set up.

From Terminal

  • When configuring particle photon with terminal the device hangs on searching for wifi.

Has the computer you are running CLI on a builtin WiFi card?

But to set the credentials via CLI I’d use

particle serial wifi

and omit all the fancy autoscan magic anyway - I do know my SSIDs and encryption schemes by heart :wink:
