I have electron in my box and decided to run it, unfortunately after i activated the sim card and claim the device, it went to very high frequency cyan flashing, i have tried particle device doctor but still have same problem, i have changed 2 different simcard and still the same problem, i did remove the device from my account and today i turned the device on and i want to claim it back but it doesn’t allow me (Could not claim device.) , i am using particle identify then copy the ID and add new device on particle.io.
so now i ended up with 2 issues, one is to claim the device back, second is to solve the fast cyan flashing issue.
What is the LED doing, anything other than cyan visible?
What did the Particle doctor say?
Are you using a Particle or third party SIM?
Are the SIMS still active?
Is the antenna hooked up correctly?
Have you given it sufficient time to connect?
Is the battery connected?
What else, exactly, did you try, and what was the output?
As an aside; unclaiming a device will never fix connection issues, or any other issue for that matter. It’s merely a link of the device ID to your account on the Cloud side, and should have no impact on the device. Unclaiming will only add extra complexity as you’ve noticed, since you can only claim a device when it’s currently online.
