Electron shipment without accessories?

I believe i might already have asked this question a while back. Idea is to reduce the shipping cost which is turning out to be 60USD for me (US to Pakistan). Unfortunately unlike Photon, Electron is not sold at Asian distributor websites like seeedstudio etc.
Can there be an option available to loose all accessories (breadboard, SIM, LiPo battery and the plastic box itself) and just order Electron controller in a anti-static plastic bag ?
This might hopefully reduce the shipping cost for me.

Commerical Electron low volumes

Hi there, Those are all great questions. You are correct, the only way that you can purchase an Electron at the moment in low volumes is with the kits that you see on the store. The reasoning behind this is because the Electron needs a SIM card, antenna, and battery to operate. In the kit, the only extra things are the USB cable (which is handy to connect to your PC) and a breadboard, which again, is not necessary, but handy to have to prototype.
