I’ve been watching this great great talk.
I have an idea for an electron-based product. I would need let’s say around a 100 to 1000 electrons for the initial stage.
Do I need to buy $49 Electrons for each?
Can it get cheaper upon ordering at let’s say 100000 Electrons?
Where can I do the final assembly of the product?
Will Particle send the Electron modules to the manufacturing company?

If you’re talking those kinds of numbers, then it’s best to reach out to Particle directly, since they have folks that can help you further with that.
As for assembly, you can do that wherever you please. At home in the garage, or on a production line in China, it all depends on what your needs/capabilities are.
I’m pretty sure Particle can send the modules to where-ever you’d need them
