Is the duck antenna as sold in the Particle store suitable for outside use?
Anyone know what sort of range difference versus onboard antenna?

The antenna itself is suitable for outdoor use, obviously not the cable connector.
As far as range, real world experience has shown me that the antenna is only part of the equation. Other factors, like environment, and obstructions obviously come in to play, but my biggest hurdle on range, and reliability, has been the access point or router you’re connecting to. With decent equipment, I’ve been able to get between 100-200’.
