Desktop setup stalled at "Organize your particle device"

Hi,

desktop setup has been showing me the pulsating three dots for the last 30 mins or more... I'd just clicked "Next" after adding my tachyon to Sandbox/New Product

htop shows a couple of cores at 100% running particle-tachyon-desktop-setup and the red activity LED is flashing like crazy... what's it doing?

repeatedly checking df -h doesn't look like any large files are downloading....

do I just wait, or power reboot/re-power...???

UPDATE: still stalled at the same point - rebooted tachyon, tried on a different wifi network (in case my pi-hole was blocking something), created a different/new product name - nothing seems to change the behaviour. I can see the product names I create in my account sandbox, so that part's getting to the backend but the desktop setup's still stalled....

We just released a fix for this. You can do sudo apt update then sudo apt upgrade and it should be fixed!

I’m having the same issue, it is loading forever at “Organize your Particle Device” with the 3 squres loading, did the sudo apt update and upgrade , rebooted but nothing.

Also my light seems to always be green but not quite cyan or magenta (wifi is connected) is there something else I’m supposed to be doing?

At device page eSim says not installed, is that something related to the stalled startup?
