Tachyon setup - Unable to get device info

Running particle tachyon setup on Ubuntu 20.04 using Particle CLI version 3.40.1.

Expected result: tachyon setup complete

Actual result: Fails at Step 2 with Unable to get device info. Please restart the device and try again.

output of .log file is included in the image below.

I have tried several USB C cables without changing the result.

Ubuntu 20.04 reached its end of standard support on May 31, 2025. The tools to flash are Tachyon are compatible with Ubuntu 22.04 or later.
