Desktop IDE updates Photon back to 7.0 from 6.3

I have restored a Photon to 6.3 from 7.0. After verifying it and verifying I have the target on the Web IDE to 6.3 I have found when installing the software onto the Photon that it updates the firmware back to 7.0 when using the Desktop IDE. It doesn’t do this when using the WEB IDE. I can’t find any settings on the Desktop IDE to set the installed firmware on the device. Can someone help me with this?

You’ll need to manually flash the system firmware back to 0.6.3.

Then click on the version number at the bottom of the Particle Dev window (it may also be “latest”) and select 0.6.3.
