Cannot flash via usb

Hi there,

I have touble to flash my code to an Electron device on Windows 7 using the following command:

particle flash --usb firmware.bin

I have followed the instructions carefully to enter DFU mode. The light shines yellow. But “particle” command still complains that it cannot find any DFU devices. But I can see “Photon DFU” in the Device Manager of Windows 7.

How to deal with this issue?

The DFU device is probably mapped to the wrong driver. There’s a screenshot of the way it should look in the section Windows - Debugging drivers.

if it’s incorrect, you can use the Zadig program in the section Installation - Windows to fix it.

What did you do to get it to work?

use Zadig to update driver.
