Can shields be plugged into to the connector underneath of Internet Button?

I want to receive a music stream from WiFi to Photon, then send data by SPI to Adafruit music maker shield, which has codec to decompress stream, and has amplifier to output music to speakers.

How cool would all this be?!

Yup, that would be cool and about your question

Can shields be plugged into to the connector underneath of Internet Button?

Wouldn't see why not - the headers are dual entry AFAIK

It’s just that there are no shield meant to fit there, as far as I’m concerned. You should be able to plug in some dupont wires though.

“DuPont”?

There was no mention of a pre-fabbed shield
When one builds an adapter shield that would be pluggable there :sunglasses:

Dupont wires, have a google  Other wires should work as well, they’re just female headers after all.

Female to Female jumper wires

Then where would you stick a female jumper wire on the Internet Button? The Internet Button has female headers onboard, so that should require male headers at the least. Other shields may, or may not, have female headers as well, thus also requiring male cables.
Then again, a quick google would have given the OP enough information to go on, had he given that a shot.
