I’ve found two different versions of the drivers. One is an exe the other is a zip. What is the difference? Using the exe version under Windows 7 I did not get an unsigned driver caution. Are all the Particle drivers properly signed? Will I have problems with Windows 8.1/10? I’m writing a tutorial for a workshop so it would be useful to know ahead of time.
Also note that the exe version is referenced in the main Photon docs while the zip version is referred to in the [Particle Official] Windows 10 Full CLI and DFU Setup.
Oy now I’ve found the all-in-one exe that installs node.js, the cli and usb drivers!
