Electron that I just bought has v0.4.9.
I’ll be used 0.4.8 because 0.4.9 is buggy.
Latest non-prerelease in drop down is 0.5.3

The Electron actually has 0.4.8 on it. It’s a problem with Particle Build (Web IDE) where it reports that the Electron has 0.4.9 and then fails to be able to build for it (Error 500). It only happens to some Electrons.
Either installing system firmware 0.5.3 on the Electron or switching the popup menu to 0.4.8 will solve the problem.
I would upgrade to 0.5.3.
