Summer internship at Spark!

Spark is looking for summer interns!

The internship program will look (roughly) like a summer-long hackathon. An internship will consist of developing a Spark-powered open source product. We’ll give you a budget for prototyping and the tools you need, and your deliverables at the end of the summer will be:

  • Make something awesome with the Spark team’s support.
  • Document the product and your experience creating it, and open source everything.
  • If you encounter features of the Core/Cloud that are missing that are necessary to deliver your product, build them as you go with the help of the Spark team.
  • If you’re up for it, launch the product! Kickstarter/Indiegogo/whatever. Once the summer’s over, it’s your product, and you can do with it what you wish, with our full support.

We’re looking for folks who are in college/grad school pursuing degrees in computer science, electrical engineering, design, or something similar. This is a full-time internship in Minneapolis.

Would require being in Minneapolis with us; doesn’t mean you have to be U.S. based, but you’ve got to get yourself here :slight_smile:
