Sourcing the Electron JST-2 SMD Connector?

Hi folks,

I’ve been desperately trying to find a supplier (USA ideally) for the surface mount, vertical-facing JST-2 connector used on the Electron.

The Particle Electron BOM lists it as a KAWEEI CW2001-02T1-H01-D but I can’t find a supplier for that brand (or similar) anywhere.

As luck would have it, I came across this sparkFun product immediately after posting this thread.

Guess I’ll leave it here in case its of use to anyone else.

Adafruit is also a good source: https://www.adafruit.com/product/1769

Even adafruit sources their connectors from 4uconnector.com… but it’s a super-shady website with no SSL and you have to buy thousands at a time. The adafruit connector is $0.75 compared to $0.95 on sparkfun. Good luck.

Thanks for the response, for what it’s worth that’s the exact connector we purchased before realising we wanted a vertical-style.
