Hello,

I’ve got an electron and It won’t connect to the cellular connection. Originally I used a Twillio SIM card and specified the APN etc details, but it didn’t connect either. So I activated the particle sim card and put the electron in DFU mode and updated the firmware with “Particle update”. The LED flashes green but never connects. Can anyone provide some pointers to get this thing online?

particle update does not necessarily remove your app firmware.
So you should follow that with particle flash --usb tinker in DFU mode to get rid of any previous APN settings.
Also try Safe Mode.

Try pushing the Sim card down with some pressure and see if it’s a bad Sim connection.
