I have a Photon for clients that will need to update their wifi now and then.
I added a pushbutton that clears the wifi credentials after a few seconds of being pushed, so when it reboots it will enter listen mode and run the softAP code, which scans for wifis and passwords.
- how much memory does this take? I suspect a LOT since my photon is telling me over serial that it has about 4000 bytes free. However when it is not in softAP it has over 30000 bytes free.
- why is it that sometimes it wont load any page on 192.168.0.1 but instead it wants me do download a file?
3.Is there a reliable alternative that makes an update of wifi credentials easy (without using the particle app obviously). When I finally log into 192.168.0.1, choose a wifi and provide the password it usually connected and started breathing cyan, now it just stays blinking dark blue and wont reload or do anything as if the password was wrong but Im very sure it is correct.
