Hello, I was gifted a Snowflake and only the top 5 LED's are working. I've tried reflashing the program with the latest version from Github (1.1.00).
The touch button, voice and speaker seem to work.
I'm guessing this is a hardware issue.

Hi @nickjjackson -
Welcome to Particle Forum!!
Unfortunately I do not have one of these, but if I do manage to get my hands on one, I will gladly help you troubleshoot. Hopefully someone else can help in the meantime, but if not, I will let you know as soon as I have one.
Regards,
Friedl.
Just received a snowflake from Particle Some feedback as promised.
I noticed off the batt that some LED's appear to be "dead". After pressing the Particle logo though to toggle through the 'modes' I noticed they all the LEDs do come on. There is this one 'mode' though where I have a couple not lighting up, I am not sure whether this was by design.
Hope this helps!
Regards, Friedl.
Just to confirm - this is a pattern that lacks some of the LEDs in the sequence - it's not a HW failure.
That's likely a HW failure - have you been in touch with our customer support team?
You can DM the details to @Support.

If you're feeling adventurous, the LEDs are NeoPixels, and each LED is chained off the previous one. The most likely thing is a bad solder joint on the last LED that works, or the first one that doesn't. There are only four pins on each LED (power, ground, data in, data out), so there aren't that many possibilities. You may be able to narrow it down by pressing on the pin with something pointy to see if the LEDs start working.
