Serial monitor not working in Dev IDE

I am not getting any data on the serial monitor for the desktop IDE.

The port is identified as “Electron” on COM5. If I use Putty, I see the data ok but not in Desktop IDE.

I tried closing and reopening and connecting to the serial monitor but nogo.
