Serial Monitor Error: "Could not find module root given file"

Hi,

I am using the Particle Desktop IDE v1.19.0 for Mac. I can connect my Particle Photon and flash the code with no issues. If I try to open the built in Serial Monitor, I get the following error message:

If I try to use the serial monitor through Terminal, it works with no issues.

Referencing the last line of the error message: I checked for an update but receive the message “No Update Available. Version 1.19.0 is the latest version.” Any suggestions?

I had to shift over to a newly downloaded copy of Atom and install the Particle dev packages. The pre-made Particle IDE is no longer usable on mac for me :frowning:

(Edit: I had the same problem and this is how I got around it ^^)
