It's been quite a while since the last Tachyon 24.04 1.1.43 update released on Feb 10th.
I'm sure the Dev teams are working diligently to get the Tachyon firmware features wrapped up, with focus on stability & testing. No doubt, there is a lot of dev effort, challenges, and testing going on that customers are not aware of. We all know that the Tachyon project is the biggest and the single most important undertaking at Particle, as such it is expected to be quite challenging on numerous fronts.
It's understandable that some customers are a little anxious. Silence doesn't help anyone. I'm certain that Particle are acutely aware that timely communication and transparency is important to maintain customers and to the integrity of the company. It may be prudent to update the customers so they don't conclude that the software effort has stalled in any way, or that Particle has abandoned them. It'll go a long way to reassure the vast majority of the customer base.
Customer expectations will be fine provided they are aware of the target cadence for the Tachyon firmware updates, be it 3 or 4 months for a major update.
Given Particle's track record over the years and the progress made thus far, I'm certain that Tachyon's full 5G/LTE connectivity, audio/other features, and overall stability will work flawlessly and be robust in the next couple of updates.
We are, very much, looking forward to the next Tachyon firmware update. Thank you for all the hard work.
