@kennethlimcp Well that explains why that update wasn’t working.
You know, the forums and documentation should have clearer distinctions between the products. It is super easy to get caught up in reading about the wrong product that has the same symptoms as yours - as the search box searches ALL. I can’t presume that I can solve the documentation problem, but perhaps the different products should have different colored backgrounds on all the associated pages? That would provide an easy distinction for all but 4% of the population (color-blind).
I get a blinking green and it never connects. I can get it into DFU mode and restore the factory firmware. Particle List shows it but it is always offline. Immediately after updating the firmware it goes into listening mode, but it does not see any of my wifi networks. (it did for a whole day though, and it worked great! I played SIMON on it for quite some time)
During Listening Mode my iOS Particle app will see the PHOTON-XXXX wifi but never be able to complete setup. For funzies, I connected my laptop to the PHOTON-XXXX wifi and I don’t get an IP address. Is this expected behavior?
If you’d like me to post this in a different and more appropriate thread, please just direct me to the right place and I’d be happy to. I don’t mean to further convolute the differentiation between the products.
