I run Atom already. Is there an advantage to installing Particle Dev App v1.7.3 separately, rather than installing the “particle-dev 0.1.6” atom plugin in my existing installation?
There is no advantage. Particle Dev is a packaged Atom with the atom packages pre-installed. You an achieve the same workflow in your existing Atom.
