I also ran into this issue with a recent production run of 500 P1's that I purchased through Particle. They were preloaded with v0.4.0 and many devices had the same SOS but was fixed by clearing the WiFi creds.

After calling particle.connect or WiFi.connect with preloaded credentials. the following error is output. then followed by the system restarting. If the particular Network is available and connects then there is no issue. If WiFi.on is called without a subsequent WiFi.connect or Particle.connect then the P1s don’t restart either. This also doesn’t happen for all devices with the same PCB, firmware, OS and power supply. Could there potentially be different U260 module firmware? Are there any …
