No DFU device found

Just installed Particle CLI on windows 10 (Surface Pro). Command line is working fine. I connected a Boron to the surface, put the device in DFU mode (flashing yellow - all good) and attempted particle flash --usb tinker. I keep getting an error: No DFU device found. Any troubleshooting I can do to get this working?

Have you had a look in Device Manager whether the device is recognized there?

You are correct, sir. Device manager is not recognizing it. How can I make it recognizable?

Scanning the forum I found a solution that fixed the issue. It was, in fact, a faulty USB cable.
