M1 Enclosure main boards and connectors (ex, USB-C)

M1 enclosure looks great, and even cost-effective!
(ex, just what you need vs the whole Monitor One)

With that, is there room for a right-angle USB-C connector to the main board? Looks tight... and don't think you'd want to be taking that board in/out too much.

And guess default SoMs are Tachyon and Muon, so couldn't it also accommodate B-series? (or moot point, as shipping later 2024).

The USB connection is on the actual processor board, not the carrier board, so it will vary depending on whether it's a Muon, Tachyon, or Raspberry Pi.

There is no direct support for the B-SoM because the M1 Enclosure carrier board itself doesn't have a M.2 socket it on it. It has a 40-pin Raspberry Pi connector. The carrier board is essentially a HAT - it sits on top of the Muon/Tachyon/Pi, but it also has a HAT connector so you can add another HAT.

The M-HAT is not intended to be used in the M1 Enclosure without with a Raspberry Pi, because both the M-HAT and M1 Enclosure carrier boards are essentially HATs.

Ok, coz looks like the pics (in link above) show an eval-type carrier board (for a SoM), in fact with an m.2.. but maybe I'm seeing things.
