Is Particle photon (Gen2) still working with the same Web IDE? Or should I change to another device?

The Photon is supported by Device OS 2.3.x LTS, which means there will be cloud and tools support. This version is about to enter the extended service window, which is one year from the time Device OS 4.0.0 LTS is released. It will definitely be fine through the ESM window.
Though in practice, you can still build for the Core and Xenon in the Web IDE, CLI, and Workbench, so I wouldn’t be overly concerned, but we’re not guaranteeing that every platform will be supported forever in every tool.
