Nothing fancy but had an Internet Button sitting around so put it to use as the light source in our jackolantern. Rotating colors every minute and the occasional requisite blinking of a random color.
Pro Tip: Use toothpicks inside the opening at the top to “suspend” your InternetButton inside the top so it doesn’t get slimy from pumpkin juices…
Nice! Would it be goofy to like, set a ‘spooky’ public event or something, so that someone can make everyone’s pumpkins blink at the same time? An internet button does seem to make a good pumpkin light…
I was thinking of creating a simple webpage with the colors and letting kids pick the color when they come to the door for candy. Big bands of color with the Color centered and let the littlest of the group pick their favorite color and hit the button to change it. Silly but I think kids might get a kick out of it.
@dave would be awesome if it could use the piezo to play some Halloween music. I don’t have the music knowledge to use the Play Tune function. I am working on a “chase” sort of thing to create a rotating light of two colors. Red, Purple and Blue look the best btw.
Here’s a sample someone sent me on one way to play songs using the tone function, I hope it helps! Looking forward to seeing more about your pumpkin build
