How does one move parts in the reference files?

When I open up the reference schematics and board layouts of the Particle Electron in Eagle I have no problems moving parts in the schematic drawings but when I move to the PCB board layout I can’t seem to move anything anymore. I have made sure tOrigins, and bOrigins are on and I can select the parts, just not move them. I’m a bit new to Eagle - used to Altium. Anyway, does anyone know what’s going on?

Update: If it matters I have the Light edition and I can move the traces

Did you select the move icon?

Yeah I did. The part was highlighted in a more vibrant colouring scheme than the rest so I assumed I had it selected properly too.
