Help with status LED off

Hi, I've been using my particle argon on a PCB board for several weeks and it worked fine. The particle argon is plugged into header pins on the PCB board. Today, the particle worked well on the PCB once, and then I took the particle off the PCB, flashed the code to it, and plugged the particle into the header pins again, but the status LED went off and there was a blinking CHG. Does it mean that there's something wrong with my PCB, like something got burnt?

If you are using sleep modes, it's normal for the device to boot then the status LED to go off in sleep. Otherwise, it could be a hardware problem, or a power problem.

See if the device works removed from your circuit board. Hold down the MODE button while plugging in USB power. The status LED should be blink magenta (red and blue at the same time). Continue to hold down MODE until the status LED blinks yellow, then release. If it stays blinking yellow, then the Argon is probably fine.

To rule out a firmware issue, use Device Restore USB to restore default software on the device and see if that works.

How are you powering the device when it's in your board? From VUSB, Micro USB B, or battery?

Thanks for your reply! I've found the issue by moving everything onto the breadboard, and it turned out that the particle LED will turn off as soon as the particle GND was connected to a motor driver's GND because the driver was burnt up.
