I had an Electron running on firmware 5.0 I used the Particle firmware manager (OSX) to upgrade to 5.3 and subsequently the other Particle firmware manager to bring it to 6.0. After that I issued via the particle cli “partcle update” in order to bring it to (the current) 6.2.
However, after I done that, the online IDE showed me “On the device: 5.0”. How did that happen? I did again the two Particle firmware manager steps consecutively and I am back to 6.0 again.
Any suggestions how to get to 6.2? If I flash code with a target higher than the installed firmware, will the firmware automatically updated to the same firmware? (I think this is the case for the Photons, right?)
