Electron antenna on Boron LTE?

Does anyone know if the Taoglas PC104 that came with the 2g electron will work with the Boron LTE?
I don’t have a boron antenna and wanted to try using my electron antenna instead of having to buy something.

No. That antenna is meant for the 2G/3G bands. LTE uses different frequency bands. While some may be covered by the PC104, others are not, such as band 12 which is used by AT&T in the US.

Thanks!

Ill just order an outdoor magnet antenna then

I have had good results with these antennas in the US: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00KY4Q7DG/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1

I have no affiliation with the manufacturer or reseller. I just like these antennas.

Got a reply from support that its a no-go on that one

On which antenna? The one that ships with the electron or the one I mentioned?

The one shipped with the Electron, sorry for the confusion

It just hits the topic slightly, but is it “allowed” to bend those flexible antennas? My desired case would be a bit too small for the whole length of the antenna, can I just bend it a bit to fit it in?

If your just trialing 1 or 2 Electron I would think it should still get service. Your not going to cause any damage with passive antenna like these.
